Diagram of Newton’s second law of motion

Newton’s second law of motion states that the acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass. In simpler terms, it means that the bigger the force you apply to an object, the faster it will accelerate, and the heavier the object, the harder it is to accelerate.
